MAYWEATHER MCGREGOR - THE FIGHTER'S PICKS
By Tom Watt on Aug 25 2017
It's really crazy to see how far Conor has come, it wasnt too long ago we were in the same gyms during the week and clubs and parties at weekends. He has made true on everything he has said previously and I have won a lot of $$$ backing him but you just can't bet against Money.
I respect Conor as a fighter and what he has become from nothing to the face of the fight game. But this is boxing and no one knows boxing like Floyd Mayweather. I think Conor starts fast and tries to rough Floyd up. I see him missing ALOT and getting tired then Floyd stopping him late.
I like to hope McGregor offers something so we get some sort of fight for our money but I just can’t see it.
For me, if the likes of Canelo, Pacquiao, Marquez, Mosley, De La Hoya and Hatton couldn’t do it, what chance does McGregor have? Everybody talks about his MMA style being something Mayweather hasn’t seen but when you look at the knockout punches McGregor has thrown, they are as textbook boxing shots as you can get. A powerful left cross hasn’t knocked Mayweather out yet and I don’t see it happening on Saturday.
I can only see this fight going Mayweather's way, people talk about McGregor's power but that is in 4oz gloves against fighters with little to no defensive skills and from what I've seen McGregor does not have the technique to generate any real power as a boxer. Mayweather is not known as a big puncher however I believe he will embarrass and break McGregor down until he runs out of steam with the referee eventually stopping the fight.
Mayweather TKO RD9.

The Mayweather Vs Mcgregor fight is a great spectacle for not only fight fans but the general public bringing two worlds of combat together, but aside from all the hype, build up and media there really is only one winner. Floyd Mayweather Jr. This is a boxing fight inside a boxing ring with boxing rules something that many are forgetting.
Mayweather has fought multiple boxing world champions and couldn’t be beat so i find it very hard for an MMA champion to come and beat an all-time great. Age, ring rust or size will not play a factor in this fight, i have Floyd winning within 1-6 rounds but in saying that I like McGregor and think he is a supreme athlete and must be respected in what he has done and is trying to achieve but unfortunately I don't think the luck of the Irish will prevail against Money.
